Okay, so recently I asked myself "Why don't I just book vlog instead of book blog?" Then I remembered, "Oh right, it's because I suck in front of cameras."
Anyway, onto other important things :
- I need to add some flare to this site, y'know, a nicely designed heading, a good background, etc.
- I got a new dog! I know this isn't on the subject of books, so get over it. Her name is Reese and she's a Black&Tan German Shepard. (Mostly Black.)
- Recent books I've read : Exit Here - Jason Myers , Speak - Laure Halse Anderson
Exit Here is about a nineteen year-old boy named Travis. Hobbies : Doing drugs with his friends, and having relations with his crappy on-again off-again girlfriend. I didn't finish this book simply because my friend ruined the ending of it for me. To be fair, she spoiled it before she knew I was going to read the book so no hard feelings. :) This book contains a lot of profanity, sex, and drugs, so if you dislike that kind of thing I suggest you don't read it. Overall I give the book 3 stars, because it was good, but not 'Oh My God, give this book a medal and a few awards! afgebibfiabu!!" (My friend may feel that way about the book, but I on the other hand, don't.)
Speak is about a young girl named Melinda, who has to start highschool dealing with the fact she was raped at a party over the summer. She has chosen not to speak about it, and becomes less talkative as the book progresses. 5 Stars. Awesome book. Read it, Read it now.
We are currently redoing my bedroom so all my books are packed away, but I'll see what I can find to read next.
