The Summer I Turned Pretty

The Summer I turned Pretty by Jenny Han
Series: Summer ( #1 )
Genre: Realistic (Contemporary)
Pages: 276
Publication Date: December 21st 2010 by Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing
Description: Some summers are just destined to be pretty. Belly measures her life in summers. Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. Winters are simply a time to count the weeks until the next summer, a place away from the beach house, away from Susannah, and most importantly, away from Jeremiah and Conrad. They are the boys that Belly has known since her very first summer -- they have been her brother figures, her crushes, and everything in between. But one summer, one wonderful and terrible summer, the more everything changes, the more it all ends up just the way it should have been all along.

Okay, I'll be honest about this. I didn't like Belly very much. It's not that she was childish, it's just... I don't get along well with boy crazy people. When my friend is going crazy for a boy I tend to get a tad upset with her, and sometimes end up ignoring her just to avoid the topic of boys. Maybe it's because I've never had an actual relationship before. I'm sorry but my brain does not function that way. My life does not revolve around boys. All through this book I was thinking I was going to rate it 3 stars. But, the ending got to me.
Now, to the big question. Jeremiah or Conrad?
Honestly....
No clue!
In the end, this was a pretty good book. I'll admit it's not my favorite book in the world but, I think I'll  will be reading the second book in the series.
Happy Reading!
